I am a self-taught mobile photographer. I’m always searching for the hidden beauty in every day life and this ever-evolving path to creative discovery has been a real joy for me these past few years.

A forever work in progress.

Because my phone is always on me, I have no gear so I’m able to go with the flow. I don’t generally focus on a particular genre, rather capture a moment when the moment finds me. I gravitate to things with bold colour though, or striking structures, unusual shadows, the rhythm of city streets and fleeting blooms of spring. My work isn’t about creating something new, but revealing what’s already there and sharing it in a unique and creative way.

While some of my mobile photos have been recognized internationally, at its heart, it’s always about this simple idea: beauty, meaning and art can exist all around us. Look up, look down - find colour, shadow and light. Try it! You just might discover some joy and inspiration in the most unexpected ways.
